I'm Janet B., the breeder behind Country Haven Collies located in Newberry, SC. My beautiful collies live on a farm enclosed by a lot of fencing where they can run and play not in small kennels. Many of my pups have grown up to become therapy dogs and have been great dogs for handicapped children! They have wonderful temperaments just like their parents because that's what I breed for. It would be my pleasure to introduce you to your next beloved companion. I have a waitlist but that doesn't mean you won't be considered next! Please contact me! Please include your number on your application where I can contact you about a next litter ! Thank you!
Q. & A. with Janet
Why did you start breeding?
As a child, I always watched Lassie on TV. I always wanted a Lassie dog. I had several growing up. After my Mom passed away I devoted my time and effort to raising beautiful Collies!
What makes your program special?
What makes my program special is I'm small time with only a couple litters a year, sometimes 3. I devote my time to playing with, loving on and socializing my puppies whereas large breeders can't devote one on one time with pups. My parent dogs are health tested and puppies will never have some of the dreaded collie problems. My puppies are wormed and come with first shots. You can also check me out on my public page on Facebook . Go to Country Haven Collies (make sure it's in Newberry, SC) Check out my reviews! Thank you for considering me for your future family member!
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and white, black white and tan, blue merle, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
