I'm KayLee C., the breeder behind Crenshaw Dachshunds located in Mc Alester, OK. The puppies are raised in my home. My priority is to make sure my dogs and puppies get the best care, which includes: all appropriate vet care, thorough socialization, and lots and lots of love!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    When I moved to college, I bought a Dachshund and instantly fell IN LOVE. My dogs have brought so much love and happiness to my life. I want to be able to share that with other families. I love being able to raise, love on, and provide happy and healthy pups!

  • What makes your program special?

    My puppies are raised with love within my home. I strive to help each puppy grow up with confidence, happiness, and getting all the love so they are ready to leave with their new families.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from KayLee

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a non-refundable $200 deposit. Prices vary for each pup and litter. I will not take deposits before two weeks of age. The deposit assures you get the puppy that you and your family want. Once I receive the deposit, the puppy is yours. There will be no refunds for deposits. You’ll also get weekly videos/pictures.”

Contract & health guarantee

KayLee may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     We are so happy that we got our dog Ronnie from KayLee. She couldn’t have been better to work with, she responded quickly, sent regular updates and pictures, and was wonderful about meeting midway between our locations to exchange the puppy. As for Ronnie, we couldn’t have asked for a better dog. He was the runt of the litter and is now 17 lbs. He has a very sweet disposition and has done great in every situation we’ve asked of him: meeting other dogs, strangers, going to the vet, other people’s houses, etc, etc. Kaylee starts potty training early and Ronnie was really easy to potty train, even in the middle of winter. I’m really grateful to KayLee for our dog and highly, highly recommend Crenshaw Dachshunds.
