I'm Kristin R., the breeder behind Critter's Cottage Cavaliers located in Edmond, OK. I currently breed Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and Cavapoos. I previously bred Papillons and have raised multiple emotional support animals and two medical service dogs from whelped pups.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We were blessed with a Papillon dam who served as my son's autism support dog. Our sire is my daughter's anxiety support dog. Their whelped litters included 2 medical alert and 3 emotional support dogs. We stand staunchly against purebred pet market gatekeeping and believe well bred, properly socialized, healthy, happy dogs should be available regardless of your desire to compete.

  • What makes your program special?

    I spend multiple dedicated hours a day with pups & mom and am full time at home. We introduce them to a diverse crowd of folks starting at week 4, ensure many toys and textures are available, bathe and nail trim multiple times, begin leash training, basic obedience, potty pad training, crates, name recognition, etc. We'd be glad to accommodate your disability in exposure therapy!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, tri-color, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Kristin

Kristin has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Price includes age appropriate shots, crate and potty pad training, socializing with cats/teenagers/dogs, and limited AKC Registration. Full reg is only offered to the right home. Deposit is transferrable to another pup or litter and non refundable. We will also hold your pup while you make payments until you're paid in full."

Contract & health guarantee

Kristin may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
