I'm Colleen and Debbie C., the breeder behind Crosby's Cavaliers located in University Place, WA. We're new breeders starting a small program. We hope to help provide families with quality puppies as we continue to learn & grow! We started breeding with the simple mission to breed the very best dogs that we can, to raise them with love, and to find them the perfect future homes.
Q. & A. with Colleen and Debbie
Why did you start breeding?
We intentionally got a male and female with the hopes that they would prove to be healthy enough to provide happy pets to other families! We waited until they were at least 2 years old before letting them try and it wasnt until Poppy turned 3 that she let it happen.
What makes your program special?
What makes us special is that our dogs are special. They are our pets first. If at any time the health of one of them or their puppies are in jepordy, then we will not continue to breed. We will do our best to make sure that our females are not overbred and the puppies they produce are healthy!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim and ruby. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Rusty recently celebrated his 1st Birthday, and right now I'm holding a yak cheese chew that he's gnawing while I'm typing one-handed. Colleen and Debbie's high standards and commitment to giving each of their pups a healthy start in a family environment genuinely made bringing Rusty home an adoption.
They offered sound advice, including:
° Get a small Bissel Little Green Portable Carpet Cleaner for each floor of the house and life will be easier
* My Vet approved of the Purina Pro Plan kibble and moist food they sent me home with. Now, at Age 1, Rusty loves adult kibble as a crunchy treat. Who knew?
We met up midway between us for the adoption, and all the Crosbys came along. When the father noticed I was overthinking potty training, he coached, "He'll let you know; just keep an eye on him." He was right.
I'm delighted I chose Crosby Cavaliers. - Rick J, Eugene, Oregon
