I'm Kelly F., the breeder behind CrownHeir located in Austin, TX. I am 2nd generation, AKC show breeder who only breeds OFA certified Champions of exemplary standard and temperament. I breed healthy, beautiful puppies. I take my job seriously, knowing that my puppies will become someone's beloved pet. Each puppy is considered a member of my family, and I ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes. My dogs are bred for those specifics, and I take pride in my breeding program.
Q. & A. with Kelly
Why did you start breeding?
The saying goes, “I was whelped into a Samoyed litter box.” My grandmother & my Mom's love for all well-bred animals led to showing and breeding top winning AKC Ntl Ch Samoyeds. Growing up I assisted my Mom in the ring. As an adult, I have gone on to show and breed AKC Ch. Rottweilers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I guess you could say it’s in my blood.
What makes your program special?
My breeding program is about only using dogs of excellent temperament, proven merit by qualified judges and certified health clearances. Any baby we are blessed with is whelped, raised and nurtured in our home 24/7. No kennel on our estate. I keep no more than 4 dogs of the highest standards. A CrownHeir Cavalier is a big deal around here and anyone who gets one becomes family.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
