Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Côté Obscur located in Waller, TX. I’m dedicated to preserving the breed as a true working dog. My focus is on maintaining the workability, health, & type so that this powerful, intelligent breed can stay true to what it was originally bred to be …. a capable working dog with a sound mind and the kind of presence you don’t forget.

Q. & A. with Stacy

  • Why did you start breeding?

I started helping other breeders at the age of 15. I have always wanted to have my own breeding program but ultimately my desire to preserve the Beauceron as a true working breed is what made me decide to breed. I want to produce dogs that *do*. Dogs that can work, think, move, and hold their own in any environment …. as the breed was intended.
  • What makes your program special?

The time, effort, and overall dedication I put into my dogs & puppies. I actually work my dogs and test their temperaments thoroughly. All of my breeding animals meet or exceed the American Beauceron Club Code of Ethics Standards.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include harlequin and black and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
