Meet the breeder

I'm Sarah B., the breeder behind Cumberland Cavaliers located in Acworth, GA. We love this breed and the experience of having litters! Our mission is to raise pups that are set to become the best companions for your family. Our goal is to produce healthy dogs with amazing temperaments for you to enjoy for years to come.

Q. & A. with Sarah

  • Why did you start breeding?

I always had dogs growing up. I was able to see a friend’s dog birthing puppies when I was younger and was fascinated by the process. After getting Penny, we fell in love with the breed and decided to make it a family experience by starting our own breeding program. Penny is an amazing dog and has brought so much joy to our family. We want others to experience the same love for them we have.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are AKC registered and health tested. Our dogs live in our home and are loved on by all six of us. Our girls are very hands on with our puppies. We enjoy taking good care of each litter of puppies and loving them as if they are our own until they are ready to go home to their new families. It’s such an honor to provide healthy, well- rounded puppies to their perfect families.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies include white and red. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Highly recommend Cumberland Cavaliers! Sarah did an incredible job not only caring for Teddy and his dog family, but also sharing photos/videos with us along the way which added significantly to our family's excitement. Sarah clearly set us up for success to provide early sensory experiences, sleep and potty routines, and leaving with items with his litter's scent which made it very easy for Teddy to transition home. As new dog owners, we are also grateful for Sarah's help to answer our many questions. Teddy is healthy, has an incredible temperment, and is happily part of our family.

From start to finish, my experience with Sarah at Cumberland Cavaliers exceeded all expectations. She and her family do a phenomenal job breeding and caring for their litters. I was lucky enough to adopt from the first litter of Cavapoos. My little girl, Chloe, is perfect. Sarah sent photos and videos of Chloe, her litter mates and the dam during the eight weeks prior to pick up. I set up a playpen and crate in my home to replicate the area that she had spent her first eight weeks. Chloe has spent every night since sleeping comfortably in her crate with the door open and a potty area in the pen, which she knows how to use. She never whines or cries, and sleeps from 11:00 p.m. until around 7:45. I highly recommend Sarah and Cumberland Cavaliers without reservation and thank them for all they do to ensure a smooth transition from their home to yours.
