I'm Laura A., the breeder behind Cumberland Cavapoos located in Fayetteville, NC. If you’ve found us, chances are you have already been reined in by these gorgeous companions! Cumberland Cavapoos, located in Cumberland County, North Carolina—specializes in raising and rehoming Cavapoos of all colors! These babies are raised in-home, with parent pairs and our children. We are a puppy culture ENS home and conduct extensive health testing to include DNA and genetic health through Embark, and OFA clearance on hearts, hips, and patellas. Why did you start breeding?
Cumberland Cavapoos was established in 2018, at the end of our family's military adventure. We are veteran owned and operated. We have always been breeders at heart, producing quality puppies bred for health and temperament. Our family put our love and passion for breeding on hold while we supported our patriarch's military service. Having three girls with allergies, we knew our family pets would need to be low-to-no shed. We researched doodles, and heard nothing but great things about cavapoos -- if you've found us, chances are you have heard great things too! Having worked with breeders throughout our lives, we know and understand the importance of health, temperament, and what it means to receive a clean, healthy, well adjusted puppy. Through our own experience buying family pets, we have come to know what lack of due diligence can cause. Our program was established to provide peace of mind for families who support puppy shopping, by providing quality through consistency and transparency. Health testing, OFA certifications, and veterinarian records are provided to our families and we encourage our potential families to reach out to current Cumberland Cavapoo clients to detail their experience in choosing us as their preferred breeder.What makes your program special?
We are reputable, health test all of our parents (OFA certs), we early train, litter box train, socialize, grooming & handling, use a veterinarian for first vet visits, vaccinations, microchip, and deworming. All of our parents live in our home and everything is done under hand and foot.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, blenheim, red, black and white, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“We match based on your preference. All of our puppies are bred for temperament and are truly equal parts chill and play/explore. They have been trained to self-soothe in their spots (we use the term, go home) and they know their crate is their safe space, space to calm down and chill. We prefer our puppies be matched with a family that has the time for them and will treat them just like the family that they are. ”
Price
“The price includes a contract with a genetic health guarantee, all early training, crate training, litter box training, ENS, outdoor potty training introduced, generous take-home pack with all brand new items including a snuggle puppy with heartbeat and heat pack, comprehensive veterinarian visit to include musculoskeletal and major organs, vaccinations, microchip, deworming. Deposits are non-refundable once your puppy has been picked out. The deposit goes towards the final balance.”

Phoebe is a lovely little lady. She enjoys lounging in her sun space and likes to go on walks. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
