I'm Cynthia L., the breeder behind Cynthia's Lhasa Apsos located in Fort Worth, TX. The sweet, loyal, independent, regal, & playfful lhasas inspired me to begin responsibly breeding the breed and share them with others. Our dogs are fed a homemade dog food for health I believe training starts early. I work with wonderful puppies to teach them and give them a head start in life.

Why did you start breeding?
I worked for a woman who loved and breeded lhasa apsos. She had a litter of pups I helped with. Oh so cute! My husband & I bought one and fell in love! We were absolutely in awe of his self assured personality, his intensity and his sweet expressions! My husband and I had recently retired. We were both excited about the idea of incorporating breeding lhasa apsos into lives and home. I enjoy it!What makes your program special?
I believe we have the perfect conditions for our dogs. My husband cooks their food using healthy recipes for canine health. The romp around our large fenced backcyard. We play with and give heaps of affection to both puppies & the dogs. I believe in beginning training early and have had a lot of success in the areas of puppy biting, aggression, positive interactions, and house training.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle, grizzle, cream, black, and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Cynthia partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“This price includes microchip, vaccinations, health clearance, socialized with a variety of different people and dogs. This also includes pedigree and early puppy training. Also a puppy training guide. The deposit is an agreement. I commit not to sell the pup you want and you commit to purchasing the pup as long as he is healthy and whole. I understand things happen and things change and we will work together.”

Gretchen is a deep, dark brindle who loves to curl up tight with her family, while Gus is a medium-toned brindle who prefers to lounge right across the top of the pile. Both of these Lhasa Apsos have incredible, affectionate temperaments and are ready to bring that same love to their new forever homes."

Program update on 16 Oct 2025 •…Appo is heading to Louisiana on Monday. Chewy to Oklahoma Tuesday. Darla and Biscuit are moving to California Wednesday. Kula will head for Hawaii, Molly May to Tennessee, Spencer to Boston, Bogey to Orlando, while Grace, Bodhi, Atlas and Daisy move to different towns in Texas. One girl, Snickers will be here in Fort Worth. 13 puppies all moving in with their people in less than 2 weeks. I've never had so many puppies moving out of state. And this is always so emotional for me anyway because I cry when I say bye. So I am really really happy for the puppies to get all the attention they deserve in their new home. But my middle child/female just had 9 puppies, a lot of puppies for a Lhasa Apso! So it will be good that all 13 of these pups are moving in close succession and we will focus on working with Ebby's 9!! The pups that are moving come from 2 litters born a day apart, one had 6 and one had 7

Litter update on 02 Oct 2025 •…Brandi gave birth to 7 puppies she is a small 12 pound Lhasa, this was her first litter and 7 is a lot. Thankfully, all 9 of us survived. There are 3 boys remaining

About Snuggies
Snuggles was our first lhasa apso. My friend bred lhasas, and i was there when his litter was born. My husband and I fell in love with the puppies. When there was one boy left, we broke down and bought him. And we fell so in love! The more we got to know him, the more we loved him. I began to research the breed, and every description of their personalities fit Snuggles to a T. As I read the descriptions aloud, George (husband) and i would chuckle because it sounded like they were describing our boy. He is fun-loving and playful. He amuses us with his personality. He is grizzle in color and is very confident and thinks he is bigger than he is. And most of all, he made lhasa apso fans of us! There is no other breed for us now, and our Lhasa Apso family began with our Snuggies!×

Ebony is a slate color lhasa Apso. She is fun-loving and happy.we added her to our family when she was 8 months old. My mentor had a pregnant lhasa, and i asked him how much he would want for a girl. He said, "for you..." and offered me a great deal. I had admired Ebby since she was a small puppy. I asked him how much for the ones he already had and he said the same price for any-and that's how we got our precious little girl!. She likes to explore and gets into anything she shouldn't. When she gets caught, she looks sweet, like.. Who me? She gets along very well with other dogs. We call her our silly girl! She is a first-time mama but doing very well in this role.

Cynthia was amazing! She sent me pictures and videos while waiting to get my precious Honey Graham! When I picked Graham up, Cynthia had a bag full of goodies to take for Graham and all the paperwork from vet etc. Graham has been soo sweet; playful! +8I’ve been meaning to write this review for quite some time because Cynthia truly deserves the recognition. Growing up, my family had a Lhasa Apso named Bam. He wasn’t just a pet—he was one of the most special companions I’ve ever had. He loved me unconditionally, always seemed to know when I was having a hard day, and somehow had a way of bringing me comfort and helping me regulate my emotions when I needed it most. As an adult, I knew that one day I wanted to find another Lhasa Apso and experience that special bond again. When I started my search, I chose Good Dog because I wanted to make sure I was working with a reputable breeder. Finding the right puppy is a big investment emotionally and financially, and I wanted to make sure I found someone trustworthy and genuinely caring. That’s when I found Cynthia. Originally, I thought I wanted a puppy that looked as much like my childhood dog as possible, but then I met Gus. Cynthia kept me updated every step of the way with photos, messages, and updates, and before long I completely fell in love with him. Throughout the entire process, Cynthia was kind, patient, understanding, and incredibly easy to work with. She was accommodating when I needed a little flexibility with payments, always answered my questions, and made me feel comfortable and confident in my decision. One of the biggest surprises was that I was able to bring Gus home about three weeks earlier than expected, which made me so happy. From the moment I picked him up, I knew he was everything I had been hoping for. He is absolutely beautiful, his coat is immaculate, and his temperament is amazing. +4Cynthia is such a great breeder, and has so much love for her puppies. She delivered our little Arya in a little carrier that she kept her on the seat next to her. She also had lots of toys and other things that she brought wirh her. Even with airport difficulty she took great care of her. Our little one is super smart and has been easy to train. She kept us updated with her process and sent pictures of her. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Lhasa apso. They are great doggies and so loveable.

I got my Blaze from Cynthia on May 9. She has been wonderful to work with. She kept in touch with me weekly with pictures and responded to my questions very quickly. Yesterday made a month Blaze has been with me and what a wonderful gift he has been. He’s a very friendly and love able puppy!
