I'm Patricia R., the breeder behind Dach Army LLC located in Mesa, AZ. We’re a small, home-based program raising healthy, happy Mini Dachshunds in beautiful colors. Our pups are AKC registered, health-tested, and raised with love and socialization. Since 2020, we’ve focused on quality, care, and matching each pup with the perfect forever family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Dachshunds have been part of our lives for as long as we can remember, and we’ve been breeding since 2019 to share the joy they bring. We focus on raising healthy, loving, and happy pups while doing our best to better the breed. There’s a lot of work, but seeing a family meet their perfect pup makes it all worthwhile.”

  • What makes your program special?

    We’re a small, home-based program raising well-socialized, healthy Dachshunds in our home as part of the family. Our puppies receive constant love, attention, and early socialization. We keep families connected with regular updates, photos, and FaceTime, making your experience personal, honest, and unforgettable.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, chocolate, chocolate and tan, fawn (isabella) and cream, blue and tan, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Patricia

Patricia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Patricia partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take matching seriously and focus on placing each puppy in the home that fits them best. We get to know our puppies’ personalities and each family’s lifestyle, preferences, and experience. While we consider your wishes, final placement is based on what’s best for the puppy to ensure a happy, lasting match for both.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the guarantee of AKC registration, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, socialization. $500 deposit holds your puppy and it is non-refundable as it goes towards the puppies vet, food and health care.”

Patricia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We can’t speak enough of how Dottie/Prancer has changed our life and daily schedule. She is the most joyous puppy, dancing and prancing all around. The prancing reminds us of a baby goat hopping around. Prancer fits in our lives perfectly! During our loss of Vixen, we felt emptiness.
