At the vet now and everyone is great! Weights are good, temps are good, ears, teeth and eyes are good, no worms or eggs but we will continue to deworm anyway. Boys genitalia shows both testicles have dropped. Girls have no yeast infections. Getting chips and all took it like it was nothing…only 2 made a squeak but were fine. Now back to the whelping box to sleep the afternoon away. They will be a little pokey the rest of the day but that’s expected!

🎉🐾 I just have to brag on our puppies today… they are absolutely CRUSHING potty training!! 🙌🏻🥰 I am beyond excited with how quickly they are catching on to the wood pellet litter trays—so much faster than anything I’ve ever tried before! Sometimes they only get their little front paws on the tray, but hey… the effort counts! 😂 The important part is they’re making the connection, and accidents in the play area have dropped dramatically. The funniest part? They actually do these adorable little bunny hops across the play area to get to the potty tray! 🐰 I wish I could catch their hilarious potty dance on video, but I figured a picture would be the cleaner option for such a gross topic! 😜 The natural scent of the wood pellets seems to really attract them, making it easy for them to know exactly where to “take care of business.” It has made cleanup so much easier while keeping the puppies cleaner and healthier, too. At first, I gently guided them to the trays with lots of encouragement, praise, and love. Now they’re going on their own and successfully doing both #1 and #2! 💛 Who knew watching puppies learn to potty could make me this proud? 😂🙌🏻 For anyone interested in continuing this training once your puppy comes home, I thought I’d share what I’m using. You can even sprinkle a few pellets in the grass outside to help attract them since they’ll already recognize that familiar scent. They’re also great if you’re crate training and want to help keep their sleeping area cleaner. Just remember—puppies don’t truly develop reliable bladder control until they’re about 16–24 weeks old and only for 3-5 hours at this age - so patience and consistency are key! 6-12 months they can generally hold it for 6-8 hours. Always taken them outside shortly after meals, water , naps and active play to help build good habits!😊 I ordered the wood pellets from Amazon for only $10.49, although you can also find them at most pet stores or Tractor Supply. I just love the convenience of Amazon Prime! 🛒🐶

Everyone has teeth now so they are getting their first meal of real puppy food mixed into an oatmeal-like substance with puppy milk replacer. Mama will have a lot of cleanup up and then I will follow up with warm damp cloth baths. They still can’t be submerged into water as they cannot regulate their own body heat yet. Georgia aka now renamed Rosalie is the one without a collar as I’m adjusting it. 🥰

Jennifer was wonderful to work with! She sent weekly updates with photos and videos. It was so fun seeing our puppy grow and a lot of her big milestones. You can tell Jennifer really cares about the puppies and is very knowledgeable! Georgia aka Rosalie is the sweetest puppy and so smart! She is doing great potty training and has been going potty outside. We've had her less than a week! Rosalie is a such happy and sweet puppy. We are so glad we found Jennifer. Thank you so much!

We had a great experience with Jennifer at Dee’s Cockers. From the start she scheduled a FaceTime call so we could see the puppies and ask questions. Throughout the process she kept us updated with videos, photos, and milestones like vet visits. At pickup we received vet records, a schedule, food, and all the information we needed. If you know your puppy’s name ahead of time, she’ll even start using it so they become familiar. The puppies also come partly potty trained, which makes the transition easier. Our puppy is happy, friendly, and full of love. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend Jennifer.

Jennifer was wonderful to work with. I received weekly updates and she was always available to answers questions. On pickup day, she was very thorough on the schedules she had him on, a toy from home, a blanket that smelled like mom. It was a pleasant exchange. The love that was invested in Bentley a/k/a Pennsylvania black was evident immediately. This boy is smart, playful and loves to snuggle. If you are looking for a quality cocker, you are looking in the right place!

Jennifer was awesome to work with. She has spent a lot of time with Kai and her litter mates. I received weekly updates on how my little Kai has been. When I got her and brought her home, she was a ball full of playful energy and she was very sweet.

From our first point of contact, Jennifer was very communicative and very open to all our questions. She made adopting Sadie/ now renamed Vickie a breeze. Having the weekly “pupdates” before she was able to come home to us was so great and we loved how attentive Jennifer was to her and all the litter mates. Her flying out our puppy personally was so amazing and we couldn’t be more in love with our new fur baby. As first time users of Good Dog, this was a great experience.
