I'm Destiny J., the breeder behind Dessie's Doodles located in Connersville, IN. Dessie's Doodles Program works diligently towards raising puppies of the highest quality starting with the dogs we use in our program. We are a firm believer that the foundation of our program should be happy, healthy, and strong. Our dogs do not live in kennels and our puppies are raised in home.

Why did you start breeding?
My mother in law started raising labradoodles back in 2007 and when my husband and I met in middle school I fell in love with labradoodles! 10 years later after we got married we knew doodles were the only dogs for us. We began researching and working to create our own program. We work closely with amazing groomers, trainers, and quality vets. Our doodles are a family passion.What makes your program special?
Our dogs are proven to produce therapy and service quality puppies. We have been blessed to be able to help change lives through our dogs. Even our pet puppies are the highest quality. We raise our puppy on a multitude of curriculums to prepare them for their futures such as early scent introduction, early neurological stimulation, puppy culture, and more.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Cockapoo puppies are mini size. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Labradoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Australian Labradoodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Cockapoo puppies include red, cream, and buff. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, black, and phantom. Labradoodle puppies include red, apricot, cream, chocolate, cafe, lavendar, black, blue, and silver. Australian Labradoodle puppies include merle, black and chalk, caramel, apricot, cream, chocolate, cafe, lavendar, black, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Destiny
Destiny has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Litter update on 23 Oct. •The puppies are growing before our eyes. They are little fat little critters and sooo sweet.

Litter update on 16 Oct. •…The puppies are starting to open their eyes!!!! They are truly turning into roly poly little teddy bears. They are very unsteady but are trying to start taking steps as well. It wont be long and they will be running around and playing!

Litter update on 26 June •…The puppies' new play is set up for the next week or so! We start by introducing the potty box, and making it about 50% of their area. This makes it easily accessible to wobbly, unsteady, little legs. Puppies naturally do not want to go to the bathroom where they eat or sleep. It is ingrained in them to keep their "den area" clean. If you give them an option, they will quickly learn where they are expected to go. We put alfalfa pellets under the pine, which smells like grass, and helps them associate going potty in the grass when they are outside. Within about the next week Amanda a half they will learn quickly to keep their area clean and once they get the hang of the box and are more steady we will gradually increase their playpen area! By going home, about 95% of all pottying will successfully be done in the potty box while they are in their indoor play area. Hopefully, this heat wave calms down so they can spend more time outdoors. Puppies can not regulate their body temp like an adult, and sp they haven't gotten to go outside yet due to the heat and humidity.

Litter update on 24 June •…The puppies are 4 weeks old and about to get a big upgrade of their area! The whelping box will be removed this week and replaced by the playpen and they will be introduced to our potty box system!

Litter update on 18 June •We spent a couple of hours volunteering at Envive of Brookville today with the puppies and bringing some smiles to the residents' faces.

Litter update on 01 June •…The puppies have upgraded from a whelping box to a playpen! You can also see our potty box system that we use to begin potty training our puppies at 4 weeks old! This helps their transition to pottying outside at their new homes! Puppies like to keep their areas where they play, eat, and sleep separate from where they go to the bathroom. The puppies were just introduced to the box, but within the next week or so, they will become litter box trained and learn to exclusively use this area to potty. Once they are consistent in using the potty box, their playpen area will be doubled!

Program update on 20 Apr. •…We had puppy yoga this week with the puppies! This was a wonderful enrichment opportunity to work on socialization in a new, safe, and controlled environment. They got to meet new people, play with toys, and thoroughly wore themselves out!

Kipper has instantly become a part of our family. He loves playing with his big brother Maverick, which has exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have had a better experience with Destiny and our new little girl, Lilly.
