Q. & A. with Ember
Why did you start breeding?
My Mom was a breeder and I grew up around this lifestyle and always loved being around pups and taking care of all my pets. All my dogs make my heart so whole and warm and I honestly have no clue where I would be without them! As I continue to learn more about responsible breeding practices, I want to continue to do my part to produce healthy, well-bred puppies.
What makes your program special?
I live right next to the mountains where I love taking my pups, especially when there is snow on the ground. I also work with local ranchers. I help bring their cattle down and work them with one of my beloved companions. All of my dogs live in my house together. They share “their”bed with me 🤣.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Dachshund puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Dachshund puppies include cream, red, black, chocolate, fawn (isabella), brindle, chocolate and cream, fawn (isabella) and tan, black and cream, black and tan, blue and cream, blue and tan, chocolate and tan, and fawn (isabella) and cream. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include fawn, red, sable, white and red, white and black, blue, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

I just recently got my Mini Dachshund from them! They were so kind and updated pics/videos weekly!
We chose to pickup our pup and they were so kind enough to let us pick him up a day early!
I am so happy with my new doggy and can’t thank DivineDogs enough for giving me a fur baby.

Toby has been home almost seven weeks now and I could have not asked for anything more in a dog, he is beautiful and amazing. He is growing like a weed and is smart as a whip. He and Lacie who is seven have become best buds and play together all the time. The process of bring him home was a bit involved with the border but it all worked out after a long day (I am in Canada). Thank you Ember for breeding such a beautiful dog.
