Playing with dad. Jinx and Tachi in the background observing. Each adult gets their own play time with the pups. We split up the play times so that its not too overwhelming for the puppies to have so many big dogs playing with them. I am grateful to have multiple adults that do well with puppies, each adult contributes to teaching the puppies boundaries and manners besides just mom doing all the work.

Beni and Katana's litter

Puppies learning the crate is safe and comforting. Now most of the puppies go into the crate to sleep on their own.

Update from 4 weeks to 7 weeks. The boys are now potty trained and have minimal accidents inside. They are eating solid food now and enjoy playing outside and inside. Cuddling is one of their favorite things. The boys also love playing with their uncle, Tachi. Occasionally they will play with Auntie Jinx and Dad Beni, but Tachi is their favorite. He treats them like he is their mom 🤣

Working with Courtney was an exceptional experience from the very beginning. From the initial application and phone call to pickup day and follow-ups afterward, everything was handled with care, transparency, and professionalism. She took the time to make sure a Shiba Inu was the right fit for my lifestyle and was always available to answer questions and offer guidance. Gaara came home healthy, confident, and clearly well-socialized, which speaks volumes about the environment and attention Courtney gives her puppies. The pickup process was smooth and organized, and even after bringing him home, Courtney continued to check in and provide support. It’s obvious she genuinely loves her dogs and is deeply committed to responsible, ethical breeding. I would highly recommend Courtney to anyone looking for a Shiba Inu from a breeder who truly cares.

What can we say about Courtney. She is a breeder extraordinaire! Knowledgeable, personable, supreme communicator, loving and dedicated to her Shibas - all these describe Courtney. We read that finding the right breeder is essential. How blessed we are to have Courtney as our breeder and one of her puppies as our new family member. Our little shiba came well socialized and prepared to transition easily to our home. He answers to his name, stands at the door when he needs to do his outside business, (no accidents), sleeps through the night in his own little bed, and responds quickly to new games, tricks, and commands. Courtney continues to support us with advice and guidance regarding diet, exercise, schedule, training, interactions, stimulation, and appropriate toys. We love our new shiba and we love Courtney, our breeder and friend! 🐕❤️

Courtney was the absolute best in every possible way throughout my experience of getting a puppy. She is very knowledgeable about the breed and is willing to answer any questions you have, whether big or small. She is always very responsive and quick to answer. I love the fact that she is still an available resource even after receiving the puppy. Everything happens for a reason, and I am so lucky and honored to have gotten a puppy from Courtney. I hope to continue to have a correspondence with her and keep her updated as our little pup grows. Courtney herself is very genuine and really cares deeply about her puppies. They are well cared for, raised and socialized. She is also very professional and provided all the proper paperwork including his up to date vaccination record. As for the pup, he is so well behaved and has become comfortable so quickly with us. (Basically potty trained) I've only had him for a couple days, but I can't imagine a life without him. I love him so much already. Thank you so much for one of the best things ever in my life! (:

Working with Courtney was a wonderful experience from the day we first connected to pickup day. Through every conversation, it was clear how much love and passion she has for the Shiba Inu breed and for every dog in her care. Maki came home already well socialized and doing great with potty training, and I couldn’t be happier with him. He’s a lovable puppy who clearly reflects the great qualities of his line and the care he received before coming home. This experience showed me how dedicated and knowledgeable Courtney is. Her passion shines throughout the entire process, and she’s been incredibly supportive even after pickup, always willing to answer questions. I fully recommend Courtney to anyone looking for a loving companion, and I’m truly grateful to have met her.

We had a great experience with Courtney! From the beginning during the vetting process up until we picked up Tobi—her communication was excellent. We appreciate the work she did with the dogs on potty training even before bringing him home. We could instantly tell the the training and socialization she provided. Highly recommend! Her knowledge of the Shiba Inu breed and her communication throughout the whole process were outstanding. She has even continued to help us with questions after bringing Tobi home. We are so grateful to have him as part of our family now!

My experience with Diwasou and especially with Courtney was outstanding from the very beginning. Courtney answered all of my questions with patience and clarity, which gave me complete confidence throughout the entire process. She also sent me countless photos and videos of Shohei as he grew, which allowed me to get to know him, watch him develop, and completely fall in love with him even before bringing him home. Shohei arrived healthy, happy, well-socialized, and with an incredible personality. It’s clear he was raised with love, care, and responsibility. He came with all the proper documentation and an up-to-date vaccination record. I’m truly grateful for the care and support I received. I highly recommend Diwasou Shibas to anyone looking for a well-raised, healthy, and lovingly cared-for Shiba Inu. Thank you, Courtney, for helping me find my best friend. Shohei is already a beloved part of our family.
