I'm Traci K., the breeder behind Dix n’ Dot Dachshunds located in Delta, UT. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!
Q. & A. with Traci
Why did you start breeding?
We have had several Doxies over the years- they are loyal, sweet, family dogs. We wanted to be able to breed responsibly and share these amazing animals with others.
What makes your program special?
All of our pups are handled from birth, socialized by kids and adults and other dogs and animals. We enrich our litters early on with different smells, toys, and once they have their vaccinations- outside we go to experience our backyard of grass, rocks, dirt and any other mischief we can let them find- safely! Moms and Dad have DNA testing and Lineage done- all are PRA clear- no dapple to dapple breading.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, red, chocolate, black and tan, and chocolate and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Traci was so great to work with! She was quick to respond to any questions I had and was very knowledgeable. She always gave us updates until our pup was ready to go. Best of all, our pup Komet brings so much happiness to us! She is sweet and such a good girl. It was such a lovely experience all the way through. Thanks Traci!

Traci was so great to work with, she was friendly and answered all of my questions, and never made me feel like a bother. Traci went above and beyond making sure to update us with pictures and videos of our puppy. She was so accommodating and kind with pick up, and was so helpful with tips and recommendations when I'd ask. I would definitely recommend Dix n' Dot. We couldn't be happier with our boy Murphy, he has such a sweet disposition, and is so handsome. We love him so much and are so thankful we found Dix N' Dot through Good dog.

Traci was wonderful to work with and we absolutely adore our newest family member Murphy (formally Hunter). She was fabulous at keeping us updated on our baby until it was time to pick him up.

Everything dealing with the seller was smooth. There is a ton of scams out there, especially with purebred dogs and of course I did my research before ending up with Tracy‘s company. My new puppy is wild meaning he plays almost 24 hours a day. He takes little naps throughout the day, but he just wants to play and be a puppy and his personality comes out more and more every day, which is exciting because when I first got him, he was very shy and quiet but now he is completely the opposite he is super spoiled, but I am very happy with my purchase with Tracy

Traci was amazing! During our time before picking up our girl Bubbles she was updating me with photos and videos the entire time. There was never a time where she didn’t respond to one of my messages. Our puppy is adorable and very healthy! I would definitely recommend Traci for any future pet parent!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
