I'm Michelle C., the breeder behind Dixieland Corgis located in Conroe, TX. Our pups are home-raised. We put a lot of care into socializing them so they can transition easily into their new lives. We are dog lovers through and through! Our pups are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!
Q. & A. with Michelle
Why did you start breeding?
My husband and I have a very small Pembrook Welsh Corgi farm. We currently have 3 Corgis - 2 females (1 female red/wht and 1 female blk/tan tri) and 1 male (blk/tan tri). We fell in love with the corgi breed because they are super smart, loyal, fun energetic, and super sweet family companions. With their short legs, “fox like ears”, silky coat, wiggle butt, and facial expressions galore what’s not to love?
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are our pets, not a business. They live in our home and the puppies are born and raised in our home until they are ready to go to their new family at 8 wks, so they are loved and socialized from they day they are born.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
