I'm Neal R., the breeder behind Double Down Doxies located in Stilwell, OK. We decided to start breeding to share the best possible puppies with excellent personalities, temperament, and most of all health! We raise our dogs in our home right alongside our family. Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

I spoke with Antoinette, Neals wife during the interaction and the puppy was actually located in New Mexico with her, instead of Oklahoma. Communication with Antoinette was easy and she sent pictures upon request. I sent the pet carrier to her and she worked with our puppy to get used to it before flying on the plane. Antoinette met me at the airport with Mesa, our puppy. Mesa is the absolute perfect puppy. She is sweet and very smart. I would highly recommend this kennel if you are looking for a sweet dachshund to add to your family.

We are over the moon with our new family member. We got Duke Bennington lll almost a week ago and are enjoying every minute with him. Neal and Antoinette made this entire process so smooth and simple. Our pup is healthy and happy and was well taken care of before he came to our home.
