I'm Hunter R., the breeder behind Double R farms located in Brashear, TX. For over 10 years, Toy Australian Shepherds have been a true passion of mine. What began as simply owning and loving this remarkable breed has grown into a lifelong commitment to raising healthy, well-structured puppies while preserving the integrity of the Australian Shepherd — even in the toy size.
I am proud to be a reputable breeder who prioritizes health, temperament, and sound structure above all else. All of our parent dogs are fully health-tested and cleared, giving families peace of mind that their puppy comes from strong, healthy lines. We take pride not only in beautiful coats and correct stature, but also in mobility and working ability — because even in a smaller package, this breed’s drive, intelligence, and heart to work cattle remain intact.
Every puppy we raise is cared for with the highest standard, and we only rehome when we are confident they are healthy, well-socialized, and ready for their forever families. My goal has always been to honor this breed I fell in love with so many years ago — and to share that love by raising Toy Aussies that carry the same strength, loyalty, and versatility that make Australian Shepherds so special.
