I'm Alesha F., the breeder behind Doxies in the Sun located in South Willard, UT. Dogs have always been part of my life, from carrying farm puppies in my dress pockets to dedicating 20 years to breeding. For the past decade, my heart has belonged to dachshunds. I’m committed to raising healthy, well-socialized pups through responsible breeding, health testing, and lots of love.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We got Kovu at the end of June (he’s 5 months old now) and could not be happier! Alesha was a huge help and great with communication! She answered all of our questions and even helped us out when we had a microchip mishap a little while after we brought him home! Hopefully we can get another from her, would love to get Kovu a sibling!!

Alesha was amazing! She was so easy to work with and even drove to meet me in Evanston Wyoming so I didn’t have to drive as far. She always updated me weekly with puppy pics. Just looking at her page you can tell she loves and cares about all her dogs/puppies. I would 100% get another puppy from her and will definitely be looking at it once Polly gets a little bigger!
