Meet the breeder

I'm Jessalynn P., the breeder behind Dream Paws Puppies, LLC located in Lancaster, KY. We breed puppies for pet quality only. We are dedicated to the heath and wellbeing of each puppy born. We have an amazing 17 year career reputation and people come from all over the country for my babies. Exceptional customer service and a lifetime of advice available for customers. Genuine, honest. As a breeder, my goal is to ensure that each puppy is placed in a committed, well-prepared, and loving home. To make the process smooth and respectful for everyone involved, I kindly ask prospective families to consider the following expectations before reaching out or submitting an application. 1. Maintain Clear and Timely Communication Open communication is essential throughout the adoption process. Please avoid discontinuing contact without notice. I work with one family at a time to give each inquiry my full attention. When communication stops unexpectedly, it not only delays the process but may also prevent other families from being considered. A timely response—whether you decide to move forward or not—is always appreciated. 2. Be Certain in Your Decision Before Applying Please discuss the decision thoroughly with your significant other and any other key household members before submitting an application or initiating contact. Welcoming a puppy into your home is a shared commitment, and all decision-makers should be fully on board from the start. 3. Review Logistics and Transportation Costs in Advance Prior to reaching out, please take time to carefully consider transportation arrangements, scheduling, and any associated travel costs. Our ground transportation team is generally $50 per hour round trip, calculated from our driveway to your home or an approved meeting location. If air travel is required, airline nanny services typically range between $550–$650. Understanding these logistics and expenses ahead of time helps ensure a smooth process and prevents unexpected complications. 4. Confirm Your Budget Please evaluate your budget carefully, including any additional fees, travel expenses, and long-term care costs associated with puppy ownership. Being financially prepared demonstrates responsibility and readiness for this lifelong commitment. 5. Be Confident in Your Choice If you are actively inquiring about multiple puppies from different breeders at the same time, I respectfully ask that you wait until you feel certain before contacting me. I believe each puppy deserves to be chosen wholeheartedly. When you see your puppy, you should feel confident and excited—knowing in your heart that it is the right fit for your family. ⸻ These guidelines are not meant to discourage interest, but rather to ensure a respectful, efficient, and positive experience for everyone involved—most importantly, for the well-being of the puppies. I value serious, prepared families who are ready to make a thoughtful and lasting commitment.

Q. & A. with Jessalynn

  • Why did you start breeding?

When I was 16, I got my first male toy poodle. At 18, I decided to get a female and raise 1 litter. Well, the experience was absolutely amazing and completely rewarding that I decided to expand and add more poodles to my home. After lots of research and a mentor working by my side, I then branched to other breeds. I’m back to working publicly full time.
  • What makes your program special?

The amount of effort and love I put into my business separates me from other hobby breeders. I treat my dogs like family and they only receive the best care and genuine love possible.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Companion Cross puppies are small size. Cockapoo puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Companion Cross puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Maltese puppies are white. Maltipoo puppies include black & white, merle, apricot, black, brown, cream, red, and white. Poodle puppies include sable, apricot, black, red, and silver. Goldendoodle puppies include apricot and red. Cockapoo puppies include brown and white, buff and white, buff, brown and tan, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Jessalynn was responsive and knowledgeable. Our puppy is well adjusted and happy. We are so pleased to have found Jessalynn on Good Dog. Unlike some of the other apps where you don’t get to communicate directly with the breeder, we had the opportunity to meet and speak with Jessalynn. This has been an excellent experience, and I would recommend both Jessalynn and Gooddog to someone looking for a puppy.
