I'm Alex R., the breeder behind DuCiel Shih Tzu located in Auburndale, FL. As Shih Tzu Breeders, we continue to breed the best quality puppies, not just for the show ring but to bring happiness and love to the new owners who decide to have a lovable companion. We make sure every puppy we breed has the best quality and healthy life wherever it is.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    After deciding to dedicate my life to working with animals, I attended the Florida Institute of Animal Arts and graduated in February 2012 with a Certificate of Excellent Achievement. My love of animals and grooming has led me to an interest in the wonderful Toy breed of Shih Tzu. I own, breed, and show this breed in AKC Conformation Dog Shows.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program is unique because we are dedicated and compromise with every litter. We ensure the reproduction of healthy, lovable, and beautiful puppies. We always try to keep in touch with every family to ensure they are successful during the adaptation process and with any questions they may have.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Alex

Alex has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The prices include our guaranteed contract, AKC limited registration, deworming, two vaccine shots, and the veterinarian's health certificate. With the deposit, you'll reserve one of our puppies. You'll also have the option to receive pictures and videos about them and to visit our home.”

Contract & health guarantee

Alex may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
