I'm Edward E., the breeder behind Edge Farm LLC located in Falcon, MO. I believe quality is more important than quantity. I am a small, in-home program where my dogs are my companions. I'm dedicated to providing each puppy with loving/caring forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others. I wanted to do my part as a responsible breeder and produce healthy, well-rounded pups.

  • What makes your program special?

    I strive for quality and excellence with everything that I do. Holding myself to high standards is paramount to the well-being of my dogs and to the integrity of my program. It is my pleasure to help you take the next step in adding this wonderful new addition to your family!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Golden Retriever puppies are light golden. Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri-color and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Edward

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $700 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a health guarantee, AKC registration, the first round of vaccinations, deworming, puppy socialization, and potty training. The price for an English Cream Golden Retriever puppy is $2500. The price for an Australian Shepherd puppy is from $1300-$1800. The deposit is $500 non-refundable to reserve an English Cream Golden Retriever puppy. The deposit is $300 non-refundable to reserve an Australian Shepherd puppy.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Edward went above and beyond, driving about three hours to the airport to personally deliver our puppy, Ralph (formerly Colton), which we really appreciated. Ralph has an amazing temperament. He is incredibly sweet, calm, affectionate, and absolutely loves people. As he’s growing up, he’s becoming such a handsome boy, and his personality just keeps getting better.     I am very happy with our new puppy. The whole process was very user friendly. Edward sent regular updates with pictures of our puppy as he grew up. We decided to call him Ben, because he looked like a little bear and was so gentle. Edward make pick up easy and was very informative on the care of our baby. We received a care package including medical records, leash, collar, food, toys, and of course a litter blanket. We have another new puppy at home who is 6 weeks old. He is trilled to have a new play mate. Ben seems to be getting to feel more comfortable here. I think he likes his brother Elliot. There is stuffed dog that resembles Elliot and Ben likes to cuddle with that alot. I cant that Edward enough for bringing Ben into our home. I would highly recommend Edward @ Edge Farm and Good dog to anyone looking to complete their family with a loving companion.

    We and a great experience working with Edge Farm! Health testing for the parent dogs was easily available. He was quick to send the contract ahead of time so that we could look it over before submitting our deposit. And when there was a scheduling mix-up on pick-up day, he and his wife were quick to offer to drive farther for us, just so that we could be in a more comfortable spot with our kids and still get our puppy that day! Magnolia is the sweetest addition to our family. She's learning quickly and adjusting well to our home. We're so thankful for her!

    Getting my puppy was honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made. I actually changed his name to Blitz when I brought him home, and he’s been the perfect addition to my life. I’m young 19, but having him has already taught me a lot about responsibility and patience. Edward was great to work with throughout the whole process. He answered my questions and made sure Blitz was healthy and ready before coming home with me. The transition has been smooth and Blitz is doing really well in his new home.
