I'm Kristi D., the breeder behind Empire Yorkies located in Winder, GA. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives. We work hard to breed exemplary dogs that are well taken care of from day one and are prepared to excel in loving and caring homes. We love our dogs and puppies, and we strive to place each pup in a home suited to their temperament and ability. We are a small program and all of our dogs live in our home with us. We do not keep our dogs in crates for any reason.

Why did you start breeding?
We purchased a yorkie 7 years ago from an amazing breeder. We loved Khush so much that we got another. Then another. Now we have 5 yorkies. We decided to start breeding when we realized how much we loved Yorkshire Terriers.What makes your program special?
We both feel that the need to provide service and make the world a better place. We do that with our yorkies. We put all of our time and love into our yorkies. Then we send them to their furever homes. It’s our way of spreading love and kindness in the world.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Shih Tzu puppies include liver, black and white, and brindle. Yorkshire Terrier puppies include tan and white, liver, chocolate and tan, chocolate, tan and white, gold, parti, tan, blue and gold, black and tan, and black and gold. Shorkie puppies are brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kristi
Kristi has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $3,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC/CKC registration pet only, vaccinations, deworming, chip and socialization, and tail cropped on some litters. We do require a deposit. Dogs must be picked up once they are ready at 8-12 weeks.We do not hold puppies. If we need to keep the puppy for a longer period there will be a food and care fee.”

Kristi may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Einstein
Once upon a time, in a cozy little house on a quiet street, there lived a shih tzu named Einstein. Despite his name, Einstein wasn't particularly known for his intellect, but he did have a knack for getting into all sorts of mischief. One sunny afternoon, while his owner was out in the garden, Einstein decided to investigate the kitchen. He sniffed around, his little tail wagging excitedly, until he spotted a bag of flour on the counter. Curiosity got the better of him, and he jumped up onto the counter, his paws sending the bag tumbling to the floor. Flour exploded everywhere, covering Einstein in a fine white powder. The little dog looked like a ghost, his fur puffed out and covered in a layer of flour. He sneezed and snorted, trying to clear his nose. Just then, his owner walked into the kitchen and couldn't help but burst out laughing at the sight of Einstein, covered in flour. "Einstein, what have you done?" she exclaimed. Einstein looked up at her with big, innocent eyes, as if to say, "Who, me?" But his flour-covered fur gave him away. Despite the mess, his owner couldn't stay mad at him. She scooped him up in her arms and showered him with kisses. From that day on, Einstein was known as the Great Flour Bandit, and his owner made sure to keep a closer eye on him in the kitchen. But Einstein didn't mind – he was happy to have made such a lasting impression. And who knows, maybe one day he'd use his "research" skills to invent a new way to bake treats.

Krista was so great to work with. I was very happy with her responsiveness to all our questions about our puppy, Bonny. Pick up day was very easy and the puppy was healthy, clean, sassy and spunky! Prior to that day , Krista did FaceTime with us so we could see Bonny running and playing with close up viewing. My husband was so excited to pick up the puppy that he couldn't get any sleep the night before pick up day. Bonny loves her new Papa! It was a lovely experience and I highly recommend Empire Yorkies!
