I'm Ashley K., the breeder behind Enchanted Cavaliers located in Auburn, WA. We’re proud to raise healthy, affectionate, well-rounded puppies in our home. Each puppy is loved and handled daily from birth. We provide ENS, sound desensitization, socialization, new experiences, age-appropriate crate and potty training, basic commands, and more to prepare them for forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    While researching breeders, I learned how many health issues Cavaliers can face due in part to the breed’s limited gene pool. Thankfully, today we have genetic testing and advanced health screenings that allow breeders to make more informed decisions. My goal is to use these tools to breed healthier Cavaliers. Our puppies come with up to a 2-year health warranty.

  • What makes your program special?

    All dogs in my program, including outside studs, complete appropriate health and DNA testing. Puppies are raised in my home with ENS, daily handling and age-appropriate socialization. As they grow, they’re introduced to older dogs and everyday experiences, along with sound desensitization including thunderstorms, fireworks, household noises and more to help build confident, well-rounded puppies.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, tri-color, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ashley

Ashley has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ashley partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“At Enchanted Cavaliers, I believe that the best matches happen when families are able to choose the puppy they feel most connected to. In most cases, approved families may select their puppy based on gender, color, and availability order of deposits. However, the well-being and long-term success of each puppy always comes first. Because of this, I reserve the right to make final placement decisions in certain situations, including but not limited to: • Puppies being evaluated for service or therapy prospects • Puppies being placed in approved breeding programs • Temperament considerations for specialized homes • Situations where a specific puppy may not be the best fit for a family’s lifestyle My goal is always to make the best lifelong match for both the puppy and the family, not just the first available choice. If I determine a different puppy would be a better fit, I will always discuss this openly with the family and provide options. Families will never be required to accept a puppy they are uncomfortable with and may transfer their deposit to another available puppy or future litter according to the deposit agreement. I appreciate families trusting my experience raising and evaluating my puppies, as I spend countless hours with them from birth to placement learning their individual needs and personalities.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit that secures a spot on the general waitlist. The remaining $3,500 - $4,500 is due before pickup, plus applicable taxes and fees.

“Includes up to a 2-year health warranty, AKC paperwork, first vaccines, deworming, microchip, socialization, potty/crate training, basic commands & 30 days of free Trupanion insurance. Deposits are nonrefundable, applied to the total price, and only accepted after approval. One visit is allowed at 6+ weeks with a paid deposit and valid ID.”

Ashley may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
