Evera True Spaniels by Michele True

Michele T.

Breeder of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels

Meet the breeder

I'm Michele T., the breeder behind Evera True Spaniels by Michele True located in Sylvester, GA. Our dogs are bred to preserve the purebred Cavalier and Toy Spaniels. Health is our utmost concern, closely tied to conformation. Our goal: the elimination of health issues that can occur in these breeds, to show our top dogs, and to place any puppies we don't keep with five-star "paw"rents.

Q. & A. with Michele

  • Why did you start breeding?

We bought our first Cavalier, Brunello as a pet. He is so beautiful and so fabulous we decided to do everything we could in support and betterment of the breed. He will be six February 2021 and is in Excellent health—heart clear, hip certified, eye certified, good patellas, no sign of SM, DE/CC/EF clear.
  • What makes your program special?

We are not driven to win shows, although we enjoy showing and winning! Rather, we focus on researching the best possible breeding for each individual dog to improve on the next generation.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
