Q. & A. with Valerie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I believe that purposeful and ethical breeding is so important for the healthy progression of any dog. It is important to me that I not only continue my own phenomenal show bloodlines, but that I am improving these breeds with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come!
  • What makes your program special?

Fair Havens is an ethical, conscious breeder of top-quality puppies. Our dogs are bred for health, conformation, temperament, and athletic ability and are beloved members of our family. Each puppy is bred, hand-raised, and loved indoors to ensure health, happiness, and harmony at the start of its life. While many of our dogs have become exceptional show prospects and champions, all of them have become excellent family dogs and lifelong friends!
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
