Q. & A. with Cynthia
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up with cavaliers and other dogs but I watched as some of them had significant health problems and I decided when I was young I would grow up and improve the health of these beautiful dogs. So now as an adult I am doing all I can to ensure my cavaliers and puppies are the healthiest they can possibly be.
What makes your program special?
I take owning dogs and breeding very serious.
I only breed the healthiest cavaliers & I have strict rules I follow to ensure mom, puppies & dad are always safe , healthy , and loved . I raise my dogs & puppies in my home and make sure they are just as much a part of our lives as everyone else in our family . I start interacting with our puppies from the moment they are born.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
