I'm Patty B., the breeder behind Firestone Australian Shepherds located in Colorado. Here at Firestone, we believe that Aussies are human's best friend! We take great pride in our program and our dogs! We love them! Our dogs are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with Australian Shepherd puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!

Getting a puppy from Patty

Patty has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Patty partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,100 - $2,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Our tri colored puppies are $2600 and our merles are $3100. Once the deposit is received you will be placed on a waitlist, if no puppies are available. If there is a puppy available that you like your deposit can used to place a hold on the puppy that we currently have.”

Patty may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Patty was very helpful and responsvie while I was considering acquiring a puppy. Turns out she had the perfect match for me. I kept his name, Dag, as it suited him well. The purchase was easy and the pick up at Denver airport went off without a hitch. Dag has been such a blessing! He recently graduated from advanced puppy obedience and earned his AKC S.T.A.R. puppy credential. He will soon be pursuing his Canine Good Citizen title as well as agility training, which he excels at. He is so energetic and athletic! But he also has a very even temperament and visits my mother’s assisted living facility several times weekly where he is so calm with the residents. Patty also included a month of health insurance with the puppy purchase, which I have continued. I found her to be a responsible and reputable breeder and would recommend her to anyone looking to add an Australian Shepherd to their family.
