Q. & A. with Eileen
Why did you start breeding?
These dogs are our passion, and we are devoted to doing whatever we can to preserve, protect, and improve these incredible breeds. We have worked with our breeds for many years. We are excited to have the opportunity to share them with the rest of the dog community. Our dogs are such a joy, and we find so much fulfillment in finding the perfect home for our puppies.
What makes your program special?
We are premier breeders of Labs and Corgis. Holding ourselves to high standards is paramount to the well-being of our dogs and to the integrity of our program. We are enthusiastic about our program and look forward to advancing the wonderful qualities of each of our breeds, focusing on health, ability, personality, and beauty!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include red, sable, white and red, and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Great level
FLK Corgis reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Labrador Retrievers.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
