We breed and train quality English Labradors from generations of health-tested parents for temperament and health. Ganderwood's puppies are trained to the AKC Canine Good Citizenship level prior to coming home after 5 months old. Pups are crate trained, housebroken, heel on leash and off leash, etc.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

"Housebroken, crate trained, heel on/off leash, sit/stay, down/stay, stay on place for 2 hours, crate, doggy door trained, 'off', 'leave it', 'paws up', 'quiet', socialization, vaccinations. Puppies go home trained to AKC Canine Good Citizenship level plus other training with a 24 month hip guarantee. A $500 deposit holds puppy once family is approved via a conversation."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
