Q. & A. with Aletia
Why did you start breeding?
My sister has been breeding for over 20 years and she introduced me to the breed. I fell in love with their sweet, loving, non-aggressive, temperament. I work with a great vet and have built a great breeding program. I always have looked to other breeders and vets for advice with my Goldens.
What makes your program special?
I am a small breeder, I usually only have one litter a year, so my girls get lots of attention and love, throughout their pregnancy, and always. They always whelp in my living room, with me in attendance. Pups are raised in a big box in the living room, so they get lots of attention and socialization with my family.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
