We strive to better the breed because we’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy Dachshunds for others to enjoy for generations more to come. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. We look forward to connecting with you!

    Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Dawn

Dawn has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    My partner and I had a great experience working with Dawn to get a puppy. First of all, Dawn was very responsive and eager to provide things like information about health records, photos of the puppy on multiple different days, and a video call with her and the puppy. This really made us feel so much more comfortable about the process. We also live pretty far from her, yet Dawn's husband was willing to meet us on the road to make the process easier for us. Most of all, though, Dawn (and her husband) were extremely kind to us. To me, kindness and authenticity are the biggest markers for good customer service, and also good people. All that to say that I strongly recommend working with Dawn at Get A Long Little Doggie if you're wanting to get a lovely and sweet and adorable dachshund, like we did.     Our Tiana has been an amazing little dachshund. She is a happy, playful puppy with her own special personality. Dawn is a great breeder and kept us up to date on her growth in the two month span since birth and sent us a lot of cute pictures! Tiana loves car rides and loves to cuddle with everyone.     Dawn was fabulous. We drove 16 hours from San Diego to go pick up our new pup. Dawn allowed us to come pick up on a Sunday. She provided us with all the needed paperwork, a goody bag full of food and toys and an adorable blanket. Very grateful to have found her and our new puppy!

    Nova has made herself right at home. We all 💘 love her so much. She is 1 curious litte girl checking out every nook and crannie. She out smarted me and escaped from her crate which I only use at our dinner time. She is small enough to fit thru the bars. She has only had 1 pee accident and is getting up and down the step to the yard with no problem. I am so happy to have her in my life. Thank you Dawn
