Getting a puppy from Dawn
Dawn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Dawn partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“Families are given updates as the puppies grow. Pick is on the day the family takes the puppy home. We prefer this process as it makes for much better and stronger family puppy matches. This essentially allows the puppy to pick the family.”
Price
“This price includes a well oved and socialized puppy. We begin potty training and crate training. Puppies are also microchipped and registered before leaving our home. Puppies all go home with: 1. Scented blanket and toys 2. Chew/bone toy 3. 5lb bag of current food we are feeding 4. Puppy treats 5. Exercise booklet (Puppy Culture) 6. Water and small bowl for trip home 7. Potty pads for trip home 8. Current FL Health Certificate and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Deposits are non refundable. If we are unable to fullfill the original request (ie gender, color) families will have the opportunity to chose a puppy from our next litter in our program.”

We had a wonderful experience with Dawn. She kept us updated throughout the entire process and went above and beyond sending us home with her wealth of information about best practices and expectations. She gave us nice package to set us up for success as well. Pauly is a well tempermented, smart, and lovable puppy and we are so lucky to have him. I recommend anyone looking for a golden retriever to seek out Dawn. He has settled down with us very nicely and everyday feels like a blessing for us.

Dawn is very knowledgeable and experienced in breeding Golden Retrievers. She went above and beyond in providing the necessary items and guidance to introducing our pup to our home. She teaches the pups basic manners and potty training by pick up time and we are so happy with our baby girl. I would definitely recommend Golden Gems and if I were ever to consider getting another pup, I would see Dawn about it!

My experience with Dawn from Golden Gems was truly amazing. She was extremely responsive and made the entire process very easy from start to finish. My puppy is beautiful, healthy, and clearly very well cared for. I can tell Dawn takes excellent care of her litters because Magnolia is such a well-behaved and sweet dog. I also want to mention how quickly Dawn answers all of my questions and how she continues to check in on Magnolia even after I brought her home. I love that, and it really shows how much she cares about the wellbeing of her puppies. I highly recommend Golden Gems to anyone looking for a responsible, caring breeder.
