Meet the breeder

I'm Christina R., the breeder behind Golden's of Hickory Hammock located in Florida. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. We’re passionate about raising the best family companions possible and strive to produce well balanced, well mannered dogs. We raise our puppies with puppy culture, ENS, and ESI to give them the best possible start to life.

Q. & A. with Christina

  • Why did you start breeding?

Over the years I have seen my fair share of backyard breeders take advantage of people in desperate need of service dogs. I decided to get into breeding to not only better the breed by breeding for better health, temperament, and longevity, but to provide dogs suitable for service and therapy work to those who need them the most.
  • What makes your program special?

I have been a SD handler for the last 9 years. Given my experiences I know what is expected with having and training a service dog. I raise my puppies with the foundations to set them up for success by exposing them to all sorts of scenarios, scents, and socialization at a young age. Puppy culture, ENS, and ESI are an essential part of raising pups in my home.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
