Gold’N Gorgeous Kennels

Magan H.

Breeder of Poodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Magan H., the breeder behind Gold’N Gorgeous Kennels located in Calera, AL. Gold’N Gorgeous is a small in-home program out of Central Alabama. Every puppy we raise becomes a part of our family from the moment of birth. We strive to cover all bases from health and temperament to early training and grooming. Our puppies make excellent candidates for competition.

Q. & A. with Magan

  • Why did you start breeding?

Breeding became an interest of ours when we became dog groomers and fell in love with Poodles and Goldens. It has become a dream of ours to contribute to the preservation of our favorite breeds while providing genetically, physically and emotionally sound pups to both pet and competition homes!
  • What makes your program special?

We feel that what makes our program special is the time we invest and the tools we use to properly raise well-rounded puppies that will be suitable for most any family type. Through Avidog and Puppy Culture teachings we have been able to prepare each pup for the big world outside of the weaning pen while also allowing them 12 full weeks to bond and learn from their Mom, Dad and Littermates.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot, blue, brown, red, and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
