I'm Theresa H., the breeder behind Grandma Ts Precious Puppies located in Fallon, NV. I absolutley love the Shih Tzu breed. I love pouring my passion for the betterment of these incredible dogs. My dogs are raised in my home where they are loved, socialized, and come pre-spoiled for their new family. I know you will love them just as much as I do.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I bought my 1st Shih Tzu because I loved them. Then I had friends that loved her also a wanted a puppy from her. I bred her, bought my second. It grew from there.

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are a part of my family. They live in my home, never outside side in a kennel. And that goes the same for my puppies. They are kept very clean. Given great vet care as need and very loved!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    I wanted to have the Shih Tzu experience. I have had two of the other Tibetan breeds before and enjoyed the experience. Teresa is great! When I first started my search I was surprised what I was looking for was practically in my own backyard. She had a black coated male puppy available so I reached out to her and we established a time to meet the following Saturday. She is a very nice lady and knows her dogs 🐕 I got acquainted with Merlin the puppy and he was sweet and very healthy. Needless to say I was sold on him. He is now at home here with our family and it wasn’t long before the other dogs welcomed him into the fold. My mix Chi and he are now best play friends. I’ve already started leash training and he’s learning quickly. Potty training is 75/25 only a few oops. Overall he’s a really wonderful little guy and we all love him. Thank you Teresa for knowing your business of breeding healthy happy dogs, I certainly appreciate it! So anyone interested in adding a Shih Tzu to your family rest assured you will be getting a wonderful dog that is in very good health.

    I spent a great deal of time looking for not only the perfect puppy but also a breeder that makes the process easy and without stress. I came across Theresa (Grandma Ts) and her puppies. You can tell she loves her dogs. Once I saw my lil Bella Mae (previously Panda) I fell in love. Since picking her up, which was easy as Theresa was very willing to meet us to save us some time on our trip. Our little girl is so sweet and playful. She was potty trained within two weeks. She eats well. She’s very intuitive and aware of people around her and loves affection. Got a clean bill of health from the vet absolutely zero health conditions. If you are looking for a healthy, good tempered and loving puppy, Theresa’s puppies are the best! My little Bella is now almost 6 months and about 6.5 lbs I highly recommend her breeding program.

    Theresa was awesome and made us feel comfortable with the whole process. We saw Romeo (now Nugget) online and inquired about him. Theresa responded right away and sent additional videos and pictures. A week later she met us half way so we could meet our new puppy. She met us halfway again two weeks later when we picked him up. Theresa treats all her puppies like they were family. We could tell when we picked him up that every puppy is very special to her. Nugget is now 10 weeks and has adjusted to his new life with us. He just had his first vet visit since being with us and got a clean bill of health. We couldn’t be happier with Theresa and our new fur baby.

    Theresa was so easy to work with. She sent pictures and advised me of my puppies progress. She let me know what products/brand names she currently used. Upon delivery she supplied me with a go package to get me started. She did a great job in starting to potty train my puppy.
