I'm Ruth M., the breeder behind Grandma's Boston Terriers located in Kewanee, IL. I am a small, in-home breeder. It is my goal and passion to raise quality, AKC registered happy dogs. I do everything I can to ensure the puppies have everything they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs. I want to produce healthy puppies that will have a well-rounded character as an adult dog.
Q. & A. with Ruth
Why did you start breeding?
My husband and I had raised Maltese in the past. He once owned a Boston Terrier and got me interested in them. They are so smart and lovable so we decided to start raising them as a hobby.
What makes your program special?
I raise only AKC registered dogs. I do health testing on my dogs as well as color pannels. I strive to breed good quality puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black brindle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
