We were looking for a purebred Havanese puppy, and found Angela and Lauren Culler of Grayfinn House. I'm very particular about choosing a breeder, and they are absolutely top notch, everything I hoped for. Their breeding dogs are beloved family members. Their dogs live and whelp, and puppies are raised, in the family's home. From our first phone call I felt their kindness and dedication. They are knowledgeable: ask them anything about the breeds they've chosen. They are experienced, and transparent. I asked lots of questions. They always got back to me with detailed answers. After our litter was born we had weekly video calls, a really nice way to meet Angela and Lauren, and of course, our puppy. We could see how happy and loved he was. You also have a chance to see the whelping area, which is spotless. An important reason I chose them is that they socialize their puppies. They start with ENS (Early Neurologic Stimulation), then provide exposures to people and objects, and the car. Our puppy Jasper is beyond what I could wish for. He was calm the whole trip home; a long car ride, waiting in the airport, the flight, and another car ride home. He adjusted to his crate easily. He's been home for a month, and the whole time he's been finding toys to amuse himself on his own. He's comfortable doing some exploring away from us. He's friendly with strangers, and affectionate and responsive with us. Crate training was surprisingly easy! As you get to know Angela and Lauren, you'll feel their love for their dogs and puppies, and know that you'll get a wonderful pup!

Everything went very well with Angela. We were welcomed into her home to pick up Bitsy. She was very knowledgeable about Bitsy, the breed, and puppies in general. She was well prepared and organized with info about our pup. She sent Bitsy home with an embroidered bag, toy, and blanket and stuffed animal that smelled like her mom.

We are so happy with our Cavapoo dogs. We were in Ohio and Pennsylvania looking for a new pet while spending time with family. We came across Angela’s website and looked at pictures of several of her available puppies. We called about one of them and he was still adoptable. Angela was so helpful from the start. She sent more picture answered all of our questions. We talked about the adoption that night and decided to see if there was another one available from the same litter. We called Angela again and yes, she had another one available. Now we are going to have two dogs. Angela did a face time contact so we could see the dogs live. Angela walked us through all the information about shots and grooming. She went out of the way to assure us everything was going to work out. I asked where could pick them up on our way home? She told me and gave me the address. We were in Ohio and getting ready to leave. It was meant to be she lived about 25 minute drive from our home in N.C.

I cannot recommend Angela and Lauren enough! I live in California and was naturally very nervous about bringing home a Havanese puppy from all the way in North Carolina. From our very first contact, they were incredibly welcoming and provided so much detail about my puppy’s health and personality. They sent frequent updates on how he was doing, which really put my mind at ease during the wait. Because of the long-distance travel involved, I was worried about the stress on a young pup, but Angela and Lauren went above and beyond to coordinate everything and ensure his trip went smoothly. My puppy, Bogum, is now home and he is perfect! He is affectionate, intelligent, and so sweet. Most importantly, he is very healthy with no allergies. If you want a breeder who truly cares about their dogs and their new owners, Angela and Lauren are the best!

I think we won the puppy lottery! I could tell that Angie and Lauren were kind-hearted professionals from the initial FaceTime call. We loved receiving the many text updates. We drove down to Asheville and made a trip of it. It was nice to meet in person and get their advice, as this was our first puppy. Dumbledore/Dumbie (now Churro) has a very curious personality. He wants to meet everyone and every dog. Very affectionate and cute and cuddly. He has been happy and healthy since day one. He is approximately five months and he already weighs 10 pounds (mostly fur). I can’t recommend Grayfinn House enough! Be prepared to get stopped ALL THE TIME with a cute and well dispositioned dog like this in tow 🐶
