I'm Stacey S., the breeder behind Happy Haven Farm located in Boaz, AL. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others.

Why did you start breeding?
We began breeding over 30 years ago with our amazing little Pixie Pie. She stole our hearts from day 1. She was the smartest little girl we had ever seen. We decided to breed so that we could share these lovable babies with others.What makes your program special?
We chose to create a breeding program with Shihtzu’s because of the good nature and personality that this breed possesses. It makes our hearts happy when we can make someone smile by placing their new little buddy in their hands. We feel like we are serving the community by helping people who need a little furry friend to share their life with.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Stacey
Stacey has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $750 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.
“Our puppy prices have options to come with full AKC registration or limited registration. Deposits are generally expected to hold young pups until they are old enough to go to their furever home. We will allow an in-person or video meeting upon request.”

Stacey may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
