Why did you start breeding?
I adopted my first Australian Shepherd in July of 2024. That is where my love for this breed began. I’m excited to have a small part of progressing the breed in a safe, healthy, and ethical way.What makes your program special?
At Happy Ours Australian Shepherds, we believe puppies deserve to keep the natural expression and balance their tails provide. Though docking is tradition, we feel leaving tails intact best supports communication, movement, and overall well-being. It reflects the gentle, respectful approach we bring to our program.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“This price includes ASDR registration, deworming, puppy shots, and vet visits. All of our puppies range from $800-$1,000 depending on coloring, markings, etc. This includes registration.”

Litter update on 14 Jan •…✨puppy spotlight ✨ Meet Luke. He is the spunkiest out of our Gilmore Girl litter. He is energetic, loves to wrestle with his siblings (and mama), but also likes to wonder off on his own and explore. He is a confident puppy who doesn’t easily startle or scare. He loves his toy ball. He tends to want to rule the roost! He gives great snuggles. He would make a great addition to the right home. His one bright blue eye against his black coat is stunning. His other eye is marbling. 😍 He has bright copper points in addition to his white markings. Natural full length tail. Genetically clear and UTD on all vaccines and dewormings. About Laney
Laney is such a sweet girl! She’s the happiest dog I know…in fact she looks like she’s smiling when she closes her mouth! She’s energetic and very smart. She loves belly rubs and being around my family and all kids!

DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
