



I'm Travis P., the breeder behind Happy-Go-Lucky Homestead located in Oak Harbor, WA. Happy-go-lucky Homestead offers loving companions, intelligent dogs for pets, show, or working. We are happy go lucky Homestead on Whidbey Island. Here we raise our two young children, goats, chickens, and dogs. We have two Australian Shepherds, Maisy and Rusty, and a working Great Pyrenees Lottie-Da. We love living in the PNW & our dog tag along for all our adventures and farm work.

Maisy with her striking coat and soulful eyes, she turns heads wherever she goes but it’s her calm, affectionate personality that truly stands out. Naturally gentle and family oriented, she adores being part of every day life and is wonderful with children and other animals. She’s health tested clear, and eager to learn. She is a steady-tempered girl with a mellow energy level that makes her easy to take with us wherever. If we are spending the day at home or out exploring she is just happy to be by our side.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
