Q. & A. with Harvest

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up raising puppies and it’s always been a passion. We love striving to breed great family pets, and that is why we select healthy dogs with great temperaments for our breeding program.
  • What makes your program special?

We work very hard to desensitize and socialize our puppies. We begin with ENS and ESI on day 3 and move onto the advanced puppy curriculum by Jeanette at 4E Kennels on day 17. We also introduce our puppies to crate training, potty training, cats, and plenty of other socialization.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include apricot and red. Cavapoo puppies include red and apricot. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

I was able to go visit my puppy at the breeders home yesterday. I wanted to take him home right then but I have to wait 10 more days! ugh! I'm so excited to bring my new puppy home!

After spending hours researching breeds and breeders, my partner and I came across Harvest Creek Puppies—and we’re so glad we did. We didn’t know exactly what to expect at first, but Brandi and Noel were absolutely terrific throughout the entire process. From our very first outreach, they were responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Since we’re based in New York, they arranged a FaceTime call so we could meet two beautiful Cavapoo puppies (including our Ozzy, formerly Brooks) to help us decide. Brandi and Noel went above and beyond by personally bringing Ozzy from Iowa to New York, making the experience as smooth and stress-free for him as possible. We’ve now had Ozzy with us for a week, and it’s clear how much love, care, and socialization he received at Harvest Creek. He’s not only the cutest little guy but also the friendliest and sweetest pup we could have hoped for. At his first vet visit, our doctor even commented on what great shape he was in and how meticulous his records were—another testament to Harvest Creek’s outstanding care. We’re so incredibly grateful to Brandi, Noel, and the entire Harvest Creek family and couldn’t recommend them highly enough! Thank you!

Harvest Creek was so wonderful to work with. The vet said they have never seen such thorough and detailed paperwork from their first car ride to all of their vaccines. They were very responsive and kind on pick up day. We could not be happier with the puppy that we have been waiting for for a long time. Thank you, Harvest Creek!
