I'm Kim S., the breeder behind Harvest Moon Cavaliers located in Poolesville, MD. Kim S. is the dedicated breeder behind Harvest Moon Cavaliers, located in Poolesville, Maryland. My journey began many years ago with her first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Tucker, who captured my heart and sparked a lifelong passion for the breed. That deep connection inspired me to become a breeder committed to preserving the Cavalier’s exceptional temperament and health. At Harvest Moon Cavaliers, I focus on raising well-rounded, confident puppies by emphasizing both early development and thoughtful socialization. Beginning on the third day of life, each puppy undergoes Early Neurological Stimulation for two consecutive weeks. This is complemented by consistent hands-on care, socialization, and foundational training to help ensure each puppy transitions smoothly into their forever home. As a hobby breeder, I maintain a small, intimate program with my four beloved Cavaliers who are truly part of our family. I breed selectively—typically once a year or even once every two years—prioritizing quality over quantity. Unlike large-scale breeding operations, I do not breed for profit, and all of my kids (dogs) remain with us throughout their lives, including after retirement. My mission is simple yet meaningful: to raise healthy, well-adjusted puppies and thoughtfully match them with loving families. I believe that welcoming a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel into your life is a transformative experience—one filled with companionship, joy, and unconditional love.
