Harvest Moon Farm

Connie C.

Breeder of Labrador Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Connie C., the breeder behind Harvest Moon Farm located in Indiana. Our goal is to breed companion Labradors for the field as well as your home. All our dogs are first and foremost a part of our family. We breed Chocolate, Black, and Yellow. Our breeding dogs are all AKC registered and chosen based on health, conformation, sound temperaments, lineage, and proven hunting ability. Our foundation females and males come from proven hunting lines. In addition, all our breeding dogs have been certified or by parentage clear of EIC and CNM. All are certified with OFA (Hip, Elbow), Eye CERF, PRA, and Dilute tested (chocolate or chocolate factor). At four days of age, we start Early Neurological Stimulation and continue the process for three weeks. All Harvest Moon puppies come with a 30-month health guarantee and puppy packet at the time of pickup. Weekly photo updates are posted on FB as well to aid in your selection process. Our puppies are raised in our home and are well socialized with other dogs and cats. We belong to hunt clubs, compete in AKC Hunt Tests, and AKC Field Trials. We start our puppies on bumpers, wings, and familiarize them with gunshots once they have moved from the nursery at 4 to 5 weeks of age. They are moved to their indoor-outdoor temperature-controlled sleep and play area attached to our home where they are closely monitored (both hands-on and through closed-circuit cameras). Our indoor-outdoor area helps in potty training your pups as well as playtime activities.
