I'm Connie C., the breeder behind Harvest Moon Farm located in Indiana. Our goal is to breed companion Labradors for the field as well as your home. All our dogs are first and foremost a part of our family. We breed Chocolate, Black, and Yellow. Our breeding dogs are all AKC registered and chosen based on health, conformation, sound temperaments, lineage, and proven hunting ability. Our foundation females and males come from proven hunting lines. In addition, all our breeding dogs have been certified or by parentage clear of EIC and CNM. All are certified with OFA (Hip, Elbow), Eye CERF, PRA, and Dilute tested (chocolate or chocolate factor). At four days of age, we start Early Neurological Stimulation and continue the process for three weeks. All Harvest Moon puppies come with a 30-month health guarantee and puppy packet at the time of pickup. Weekly photo updates are posted on FB as well to aid in your selection process. Our puppies are raised in our home and are well socialized with other dogs and cats. We belong to hunt clubs, compete in AKC Hunt Tests, and AKC Field Trials. We start our puppies on bumpers, wings, and familiarize them with gunshots once they have moved from the nursery at 4 to 5 weeks of age. They are moved to their indoor-outdoor temperature-controlled sleep and play area attached to our home where they are closely monitored (both hands-on and through closed-circuit cameras). Our indoor-outdoor area helps in potty training your pups as well as playtime activities.

Connie has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

"When choosing our prices, we base them on the lineage and accomplishments of each of our dogs and the sires we breed our females too. The deposit is non-refundable and will be applied to the remaining balance at the time of payment in full for your new puppy. If the litter of your choice does not whelp your “choice” puppy (gender, or color (Black, Yellow, Chocolate - variation of color is not a choice), your deposit will be refunded. If Harvest Moon Farm determines the prospective buyer is not suitable for placement of a Harvest Moon Puppy at any time for any reason during the purchase process, the deposit will be refunded."
Connie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Connie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Connie directly.
