I'm Heather C., the breeder behind Haupt Dachshunds located in Omaha, NE. When I worked on a dog daycare a few years ago I absolutely fell in love with dachshunds. Unfortunately I came to discover how hard they can be to find! It took me 3 months of searching daily to find our first!

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding when it took me months of daily searching to try to find a dachshund.What makes your program special?
In selecting for our program, we focus on dogs that embody both health and classic breed type. We prioritize individuals with correct body type over choosing for color. We value robust, well-boned structure, choosing dogs with a sturdy, balanced build that supports lifelong soundness.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, piebald, red, wild boar, brindle, wild boar and tan, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

“Parents are health tested. Each puppy includes first set of shots, worming, microchip, registered, rear dew claws removed, and health certificate from our vet. All of our puppies are the same price.”
