I'm Ashley H., the breeder behind Dandy Dachshund Co. located in Rozet, WY. Our top priority it producing healthy, well rounded puppies. They are very well socialized with kids, other dogs, horses, goats, and cats. They are raised in our home and exposed to our everyday crazy life! We strive to make them the best family pets we can, and set them up for success from the very beginning.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I previously bred AKC Pembroke corgis for 7 plus years, and I love them, they are a wonderful breed, but I have always had a huge soft spot for Dachshunds, from their loyalty, to their demeanor, you can't say no to them! I have always wanted to produce top notch babies, and give families the best family pets they could find.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs aren't just part of our breeding program, but they are family to us. We stay small, so we can give each dog one on one love and affection! They live in our home with us, and spend their days with us. We do all required DNA testing to make sure we are producing healthy babies, and setting them up for a healthy and happy life!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, black, chocolate, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ashley

Ashley has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ashley partners with them to find the best puppy match.

"We take great care in selecting families for our babies! Once you send in an application, we will go over it and if you are approved we will reach back out to you with the next steps!"

Price

Puppy prices include a $550 non-refundable deposit and between $2,950 - $3,950 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes lifetime breeder support, AKC limited registration, 1 year health/genetic guarantee, vet exam prior to going home, go home bag, and babies are all started potty and kennel training! All our deposits are NON REFUNDABLE, unless something was to happen to your baby. You can then transfer deposit to another litter, or we will send deposit back to you! $550 non refundable deposit to hold the puppy until they are ready for your family."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
