



I'm julie H., the breeder behind Heartfire Aussies located in Phoenix, AZ. We have loved and competed with Aussies since 1981. We've earned our Hall of Fame Excellent Kennel title with our amazing dogs! Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with a focus on conformation, athleticism, intelligence, and biddable. We are dedicated to providing families with wonderful, healthy family pets. We are a lifelong mentors.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD), DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
