We’re hobby breeders looking for individuals and families that will continue to love and spoil our puppies as much as we do! The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I’ve owned Lhasa Apsos my whole life. I love the breed and want to help preserve good quality dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    I’ve searched specifically for these color genetics and temperaments to help grow the cream and golden Lhasa population and ensure the breed has good, strong healthy puppies out there! Both sire and dam have been tested for all genetic diseases and received a clean bill of health.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red gold, golden, cream, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Steve

Steve has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Steve partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration, age appropriate vaccinations, and puppy socialization. All puppies come with limited registration, but for $500 additional we will offer full registration in some cases.”

Steve may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS), 2,8-Dihydroxyadenine (2,8-DHA) Urolithiasis, Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized, Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD), DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    When we were looking for our newest fluffy family member, we reached out to Steve about an upcoming litter. He was very responsive and helpful in communication and working with us about the process of the puppies and posting videos of them as they grew! He loves these little ones and it shows! Our little Annabelle Lilac came home pad trained and on solid food and transitioned very well to a grass pad and then to our backyard when the vet said it was ok. She has stolen our hearts and we are so grateful for the love and care Steve used when raising them and helping select homes. Thank you again!

    When we found Steve’s puppies on Good Dog they were 4 weeks old. We made our decision that Green Boy was going to be our puppy within a day or two. He called and spoke with my husband and I and answered any questions we had and told us all about the parents and the puppies. You can tell he really cares about his dogs, the litter he is raising, and getting them ready to go out into the world. We have had other Lhasa Apso puppies, green boy will be our fifth. I have never had a puppy come to me so well trained. He uses a puppy pad and I created an environment in my home similar to what he was used to with Steve. It has been the easiest transition we have ever experienced. Steve provided weekly updates with pictures and videos so we could see how he was changing and growing. Even though Steve is half way across the country he easily agreed to deliver the puppy to us for the fee of covering his charges. When we met him at the airport we got a box full of everything we needed to take good care of our puppy. He went above and beyond to make sure everything would be perfect for us and our new puppy. He truly cares about his puppies. I can’t thank him enough for bringing us our baby.

    I had two Lhasa Apso's in the past, and met with many breeders. I have never met a breeder like Steve. Steve is so concerned about the welfare of his puppies. Steve works with the puppies to socialize them. He keeps the puppies in a clean, penned area inside his house that has a view of the backyard. My puppy was pad trained when I picked him up, and he transitioned quickly to the new surroundings when I got him home. Steve's advice helped us duplicate the environment our puppy was used to. Steve provided a bag of everything anyone would need when they got home with a puppy. It is apparent that he cares for the puppies wellfare while they are with him and after they go to their new home. We are so happy with our puppy, "Green Collar".

    I had never used Good Dog prior to this experience. I found the website to be user friendly and Steve responded almost immediately to my request. He offered an initial face time call to see the puppies and ask questions prior to reserving a puppy. I was trying to purchase a puppy for my parents, as they had lost their beloved Lhasa Apso a little over a year ago. Steve was extremely knowledgeable about the breed and provided me with numerous updates throughout the 8 weeks. He knew the puppy was a surprise gift to my parents and offered suggestions/ ways to go about it. He was also very flexible with the pick up point when transporting the puppy to us. My parents are over the moon happy with their new puppy, Maisie, and she has adjusted very well! (My mom said it was love at first sight lol) Maisie received a clean bill of health at her vet check and has had zero accidents in the house, and is sleeping through the night. It’s obvious Steve put in the work with this litter potty training and crate training them. We would happily recommend him!
