I'm Kelly W., the breeder behind Heaven Sent Aussies located in Jaroso, CO. Our focus is to produce the best dogs of the highest quality so that other families can also enjoy the love of a Mini Aussie. These dogs have proven to be wonderful companions in our lives. It is a privilege to be able to share that love and friendship with others through responsible breeding.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I raised and trained Australian Cattle Dogs before getting married and raising a family. Now that my family is grown and gone from home I began thinking of how I wanted to spend my time. I am an avid hiker and after researching different breeds I settled on Australian Shepherds because of their athleticism and devotion to the humans in their lives.

  • What makes your program special?

    I live in an area where my dogs get lots of exercise (in the form of hiking) and have plenty of fresh air and sunshine in which to thrive. The result? All of my dogs are robustly healthy and happy.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, red merle, red, and black. Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include red & white, black & white, black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Australian Shepherd puppies include black & white, red & white, black, red merle, blue merle, red, dilute red, dilute blue, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Kelly

Kelly has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kelly partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price is dependent on breeding rights and eye color. Price includes dewclaw removal, tail-docking, ASDR registration available, first round of vaccines. Non-refundable but transferable, if you decide you like a different puppy more!”

    Heaven Sent Aussies was fantastic to work with. Kelly was responsive, kind, transparent, and accommodating. When we found them on good dog, we had a few puppies in mind that we wanted to meet for adoption. We decided that making the five hour trip to her home/farm to meet the perfect puppy was worth the drive. She allowed us to bring our two young children and dog to meet the puppies to make sure they were a good match for our home. We went there with a list of four puppies to meet, and ended up leaving with one who wasn’t on our list because we fell in love. Bear (Zach) was from a litter with an amazing temperament. He was playful, gentle, and sweet. Cuddled and wanted to be held, but kept up with our 1.5 year old girl well. The adoption process was very easy. Kelly is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. She had great information sheets from know allergies on the breed, to basic information of care. Her medical documentation was thorough. She provided a bag with so many amazing goodies including food that lasted us two weeks! I cannot recommend Heaven sent Aussies enough! We are so in love with our boy, and cannot wait to adopt another puppy from them. P.s. Bear has been SO easy to train. Crate trained so quickly, potty trained within days. With easy consistent training he has already learned some tricks and has picked up social cues super fast. Such smart dogs!

    Kelly is wonderful to work with as she is responsive and very knowledgeable about the breed and her dogs. We got Qubert (we named him Tucker) in May 2026. When I updated Kelly about changing his name and sending her photos, she let me know that his great grandfather on his mothers side was also Tucker. I then fell in love with Elote when I saw his photos and he was reserved, then he was brought back due to a reason that was best for him and the adopter. My husband and I had been considering getting a buddy for Tucker, so I messaged Kelly asking how she felt Tucker and Elote would do together and she felt they would be a good fit for each other. We got Elote and they have been best buds from day one. They each have car seats/beds but sometimes you will find them laying together, they play very well together. We changed Elote to Tremor(husband is a car guy and we have Tremor trim vehicles and his coloring matches the Tremor color). I suggest if you are considering get a buddy-do it and ask Kelly what she thinks about the two as she is a great resource and will discuss everything with you. I am truly happy that I found her and her puppies. I recommend her to anyone that talks about wanting a puppy.

    I can’t say enough amazing things about my experience with Heaven Sent Aussies! From the very beginning, Kelly truly went above and beyond in every possible way. She spent over an hour on the phone with me initially, walking me through each of her dogs in detail so I could truly find the right fit—and together we absolutely nailed it!! My little Zuri is beyond perfect!  Her communication is unmatched. Kelly was always available, incredibly responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure I felt confident and supported throughout the entire process. It never felt transactional—she truly cares about her puppies and the families they go to and it shows! Zuri has exceeded every expectation I had. She is incredibly smart, well-adjusted, and clearly came from such a thoughtful, experienced and passionate breeding program. Within just one week, she is already 99% house trained, is comfortable in her crate and has learned commands like sit, place, spin, come and rollover—and continues to impress me every day. What’s been just as special is how seamlessly she has bonded with my 10-year-old dog who struggled so much with the loss of my 15 year old beagle several months ago. That transition could have been tricky, but it was smooth and natural, which speaks volumes about Zuri’s temperament and the early socialization Kelly provided. If you’re looking for a breeder who is knowledgeable, passionate, and truly dedicated to their dogs and clients, during as well as after the process, I would recommend Kelly WITHOUT hesitation. This has been one of the best decisions I’ve made and Kelly made a dream of mine come true of loving and having a miniature Australian Shepherd be part of my family!
