A life long love of the breed has made it easy to want to improve the breed and protect all future litters while doing so. Heavenly Poodles only has Embark Clear and OFA certified breeding Standards. Why did you start breeding?
Breeding became very natural to me as I bred canines when I was a young man. I have always valued and admired man’s best friend and had the best relationship with my dogs. I have loved standard poodles for as long as I can possibly remember. Their intelligence, non-shedding, and human like demeanor can not be matched.What makes your program special?
Heavenly Poodles is unique for the wonderful red bloodlines that we have developed over the last decade and are widely known for. Our reds are not only beautiful but also excellent temperament also. Our buyers always come back for their next companion and refer their friends!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

"The price includes AKC Limited Registration unless otherwise stated, first shots, dews/docks, dewormed, vet check, sample puppy food, gift bag, AKC Reunite pre-paid, Microchipped. All deposits are non-refundable however they are transferable should the puppy you desire not be available. Deposits will be transferred to next available litter."

Gracie is a wonderful mother and companion! She is tall and lean with a nice low maintenance coat. Her puppies are happy, healthy and well loved by our Irish Doodle families. We have had excellent feedback on the previous pairing with her and Rusty. Gracie has an even temperament and is very loving. She is always up for whatever her buddies are doing. Gracie is a first generation Irish Doodle. Her parents are purebred Irish Setter and Standard Poodle. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Dentition
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I was looking for an IrishDoodle - not easy to find! - and came across James and Heavenly Poodles. He invited me to come meet the puppy I was interested in and I was impressed by not only his dogs, but the cleanliness of his facilities and his affection for his dogs. I wasn’t sure when I’d be able to bring a puppy home - my husband and I were on a beach vacation nearby and the idea of schlepping a puppy up and down two flights of stairs multiple times a day wasn’t appealing- and James generously offered to keep the puppy for a couple weeks. We were able to work it out, though, and I picked up Mishka a few days after meeting her. She’s been a total delight, as all puppies are, but more than that: she has her bursts of puppy mania, but is confident and calm, and has adjusted well to her new home. All signs of good breeding and also of a loving home.
